Expose Thumbnail Images on PDP Gallery

In the past, we conducted an A/B test for this brand, displaying thumbnail images for both their UK version and IRE version. While the test was successful for the UK, it did not perform well for the IRE version. We hypothesised that visitors couldn’t access the CTA and options as the area occupied too much space on the wider screens. In this test, we activated the thumbnail area while positioning a sticky CTA, which originally only appeared when the user scrolled down the page.

The Results

Based on two-week test results, Variant 1 showed a +9.61% increase in Clicks on “Add to Cart”, a +7.17% increase in eCommerce Conversion Rate, a 35.07% increase in Clicks on the sticky ATC CTA, and a 6.26% increase in Revenue per Visitor. We set Variant 1 live permanently.
