When you’re about to hire a new service provider (agency, freelancer, consultant, whoever), what is it that gets you to work with them?

  • Relevant case studies
  • Past client testimonials
  • A guarantee or risk reversal
  • Price
  • Speed
  • Chemistry/Gut Feels
  • Something else?

I prefer to approach a maximum of 2 providers and want them to keep it short and sharp.

I want to see that they have done it before (for someone like me) and that they have had positive experiences.

Then 1-3 options and clear guidance on what each includes and excludes.

Lastly, some clear-as-day next steps.
