    The Brand

    Scarlet & Gold is a leading lifestyle and apparel brand, based in Alabama, USA. After redesigning their Shopify Plus store with Blend, the brand looked to use SMS Bump to develop a new sales channel, which resulted in a 5000% ROI.

    The Challenge

    Following a Shopify Plus redesign project with Blend that resulted in a 1000% increase in sales in 1 month, Scarlet & Gold understood that further opportunities to drive traffic and sales with alternative marketing channels was a possibility, but were unsure as to the most effective channels to use.

    The Solution

    The first step for the Blend team was to revisit the store metrics for Scarlet & Gold to assess the behaviour and demographics of both visitors and shoppers. By doing so, the Blend team were able to map out the various visitor and customer journeys on-site and evaluate how SMS Bump could be best utilised.

    Following this process, we initially set up core automated flows, including Abandoned Cart recovery. The Language, tone and content were based around data from email communication to ensure that SMS marketing had the best potential to convert to sales for the brand. Following a review of the SMS flows by the Scarlet & Gold team, automated flows were implemented onto the Scarlet & Gold store as a new marketing channel.

    By integrating the use of SMS Bump with other key Shopify marketing tools, Scarlet & Gold plan to continue the use of SMS Bump as they grow their Shopify Plus based brand.
